Welcome to Stanford Sites Drupal 8!
This Get Started section contains documentation that will allow you to get started quickly with editing your site. We suggest starting off with the User Guide Conventions page to better understand the user guide documentation.
How to use this website
There are several tools our Stanford Web Services team has created in support of you in making your website. Our team also provides various services to partner with you in the creation of your sites, should you seek additional support.
Where to start?
The out-of-the-box website is pre-loaded with an example homepage, a few sample pages, and this "how to use your website" page. The sample pages show you what pages will look like when they are "nested" below your main navigation pages. The sub-navigation (nested pages) appear on the left side of the page, and Paragraphs are placed on the right. (Please visit the Drupal 8 (D8) User Guide for a glossary of terms and thorough explanations on how to use your website.)
This section also provides you with several resources to keep you moving through creating your website, including links to, how to work with Drupal Paragraphs, Text Area typography styles, tips on writing for the web, and how to use headings properly in your Text Area Paragraph.
The absolute best resource for you in creating your Drupal 8 website is the User Guide. Complete with directions from how to log into your site, to how to use each and every paragraph type, the Drupal 8 User Guide will support you in almost all of your content creation needs.
