How do I request a D8 site?
Depending on your needs, we have two different ways of requesting a Drupal 8 site.
Request a self-service D8 site
Interested in getting started with our new Drupal 8 platform? Drupal 8 is currently available for Stanford administrative unit, academic department or lab. You can request your own self-service site through this ServiceNow Site Request Form
Important things to note:
- This is a shared form with Drupal 7. You will need to select Stanford administrative unit, academic department or lab in order to access the Drupal 8 options.
- If you have an existing Drupal 7 site, the Drupal 7 site names cannot be reused for Drupal 8. We suggest requesting a site name with the following naming convention: [site-name]d8 (i.e. userguided8)
Submit an Assessment and Assistance form
Ready to move your Drupal 7 site from Jumpstart or Stanford Sites to our new Drupal 8 platform but not sure where to start? Stanford Web Services is here to help!
We would love to talk to you, hear more about your goals, and share with you tools, timelines, and requirements for moving your site.
You can fill out the Assessment and Assistance form to start your request for a new site, request site assessment, learn about our Drupal 8 Bootcamps, and learn more about Drupal 8 adoption from Stanford Web Services.
