with the out-of-the-box website that is pre-loaded with an example homepage, a few sample pages, and this "how to use your website" page.

The sample pages show you what pages will look like when they are "nested" below your main navigation pages. The sub-navigation (nested pages) appear on the left side of the page, and Paragraphs are placed on the right.
